ABOUT REBECCA O’LEARY

Rebecca O'Leary is a Philadelphia based art consultant with 20 years experience in the field of art and art business. After a decade of working in the arts in Los Angeles, Rebecca established the Rebecca O'Leary Art Advisory in Philadelphia to help serve corporate and hospitality clients, private collectors and everyone in-between. The Advisory specializes in contemporary art consulting and public art; providing leadership and effective solutions to produce complex art projects for any environment. Using a network of international contacts and insider knowledge, Rebecca bridges the gap between all parties: real estate developers, architects, interior designers, general contractors, art galleries and artists - with the ability to provide a full range of art solutions for any budget .

We take the time to get to know you, your brand, your project and what your true preferences are when it comes to art and design. We listen to what you are interested in so we can produce or acquire any kind of artwork from resources locally and internationally. We have relationships with artists, fabricators and galleries around the world; we can seamlessly transform your space with the power of artwork that fits your timeline and budget. 

Prior to establishing the Advisory, Rebecca toured the Andy Warhol Athletes exhibition to museums across the country and was an independent consultant for organizations including Creative Partners West and she helped launch the CONTEXT art fair with Art Miami in 2012. Previously, she was the Director of Exhibitions at Curatorial Assistance where she facilitated projects with the Annenberg Space for Photography and placed numerous exhibitions in museums including the San Antonio Museum of Art, Museum of Glass, the Nevada Museum of Art, Fundacion MAPFRE among many others. In 2007 Rebecca was the Executive Director at Pharmaka, a non-profit organization in Downtown Los Angeles dedicated to contemporary art and cross cultural programing. She serves on the board of directors at Fleisher Art Memorial and she also maintains an active presence on the West Coast and in New York. Rebecca studied art history at New York University and has a bachelor's degree in Political, Legal and Economic Analysis from Mills College.
